What's New In My Stash (PART ONE)

12:42 AM

I'm starting a new series to a) show you all the goodies I've bought and to b) document what I've bought so I can Stop myself...! #doingitfortheblog

Most items were purchased in mid to late December, and a little bit throughout January. I didn't really intend to buy anything in January, but some of it just seemed so enticing, in retrospect.  Similarly, work really bummed me out throughout the entire Holiday season too, and I was/am just So Exhausted--retail therapy is sometimes....nice....!

yaocos (ebay)

I just got this in the mail yesterday, ordering earlier in the January using a card that my boyfriend got me for Christmas (I used it mostly to get skincare stuffs hehe). At the time of ordering, yaocos was the cheapest seller but as I write this, f2plus1 seems to be almost 20 cents cheaper.

it's skin baby face moisture bb 01 moisture - I decided to buy this finally because it's pretty affordable online, usually running from ~$4 to ~$7, depending on the seller. I'm really hoping the works for me, but if not, I'll still make it work.

it's skin hyaluronic acid eye cream - I decided to pick this up because it was cheap (about $7) for an eye cream, and for it to replace two of my older eye creams. I have no thoughts yet but it can now sit in my eye cream area, rather than the "new stuff" area. At the time of writing this, iamlove-shop is the cheaper option, at ~$7.18

etude house pure water baobab moist toner - I wanted to buy the cream too but I currently have waaaaaaaay too many creams at the moment--but, soon. I suppose the same could be said for my toner collection, but I really don't have one that is labelled "moist" and has little to no alcohol content, without it being a "skin conditioner" that's catered to the body, not just the face. I also thought the packaging was adorable (the cap design mildly reminds me of the 2012 Etoinette Holiday release, which I still want the lipsticks and the brush lol).

One item was sadly missing from this order, but I've sent an eBay message, so we'll see what happens...  :~D  I haven't had any problems with this seller yet but I hope it works out.

cgs6309 / BeautyGa (ebay)

This arrived the other night. I used the card that my boyfriend got me for Christmas, so I'm planning to show what I bought with him soon! This seller was the only one selling the Innisfree x Snoopy limited collection, and I wanted to snag one or two items. Even though I already own the famous No-Sebum Mineral Powder, I decided to buy the Snoopy Edition. It's super cute!! I did eye the lipstick cremes but I'm honestly eyeing like 25 other lip products (I need to stop!).

Continuing my love for peaches meant ordering this ADORABLE hand cream with Baby Apeach on it, from yet another collab from Kakao Friends and The Face Shop. It smells so adorable and peachy sweet; I'm in love!

amazon

I've wanted a couple Estherlovesyou items for quite while--mostly because of the cute bunny character and aesthetics, paired with curiosity--so what better timing! I picked up the IPKN Long Wear Tint in 02 Pink Martini and the Longwear Eyeliner Pen (which the latter is sadly almost to its expiry date....) via BeautyParts, on Amazon. I ordered a larger order on January 15 and this portion of the order arrived on the 19th--super fast?!?!

Also I have been equally as curious of CanMake's Mermaid Skin Gel UV sunscreen for most of last year, and I finally decided to buy it. I paid about $10 fromGoGoNight555, also on Amazon. It arrived a couple of days ago, and I shared about it on my Instagram Stories.

The other two items (a sunscreen and Kikumasamune) from this Amazon order have not arrived yet.

sephora

You all probably saw my Instagram stories of me basically humming and ha-ing over this mask last week, but I decided to do it....!!!! I bought the mini size of Glow Recipe's Watermelon Sleeping Mask. I'm curious but also I plan to compare it to another watermelon mask and also make a rad concept video.

Glow Recipe sells the full size for $45 while Sephora offers into addition, a smaller jar for $22.

h-mart

I did buy some drinks and snacks, but I happened to see some Ryo shampoo on sale for $8.99. I decided to buy only the Chrysanthemum shampoo, sans the conditioner, since I have so many conditioners at home. #adulting

Dermal's masks were on sale for .59 and I also picked up one of those "Korean Italy Towels", except this one is a glove. I'm hoping to use this on my arms, legs, back and butt, to help with skin texture issues (Sahara level dryness) and to help soothe some KP.

roseroseshop (ebay)

a'pieu honey & milk sleeping pack - if I can find the Rilakkuma limited edition floating somewhere on eBay (for a decent price), I may snag it up in seconds....but this has been sitting in my eBay cart for a while. After scouring some blogs for a coupe reviews, I decided to give this pack a go, in hopes that it could soothe my dry lips during the current gnarly PNW winter.

a'pieu sweet sheet mask (peach) - these have been sitting in my cart for MONTHS and every time I wanted to order them (from a variety of sellers), they'd either be out of stock completely, or out of the peach "flavour", or the price was closer to $5. I paid $3.54 for two masks.

skinfood shea butter perfumed hand cream (peach)  - not real reason to purchase this besides, uh, slight FOMO and it was really cheap! Plus, I adore the peach scent!

(not pictured) a'pieu air fit cushion refill - I forgot to grab my cushion but the refill is already sitting in there. Affordable, easy to apply and generally long-lasting are quality adjectives to describe A'pieu's cushions. I purchased #13 but currently it's sold out from this seller--you can dig around and find it elsewhere, though.

(not pictured) mamonde lilac blossom body lotion - this item was apparently out of stock, but I was kindly offered a refund and the rest of the order was sent out! I actually tried to order this for my mum (for her birthday) a total of five items, all from different eBay sellers--since she likes lilacs. I succeeded with a single order from 8cos, so that should be arriving soon for her.

8cos (ebay)

mamonde dual lip tint balm 01 red original - I bought this mostly because it looked cute!

mamonde lilac blossom hand cream - this was a gift to my mum for her birthday, along with some other items. She really likes it!

 walmart

e.l.f. active hydration stick - I picked this up at my local Walmart store, mostly out of curiosity. e.l.f. is always affordable; this is the a new active line that is supposed to align skincare with fitness, but "on the go".

amazon (...again lol)

I ordered this Hey! Pinkgo Girl Mask set actually back in November, but it's been sitting in my "new products" stash area since I got it in early December. While I bought it originally as content for a video,

nowzenith (ebay)

Admittedly, I've been so stressed and busy with work that I haven't even touched this trial kit yet. I ordered this out of curiosity and for review purposes. I ordered this on Oct 3rd and well, I kind of forgot about it....

ulta

Just before Christmas, I found a Tony Moly Holiday Edition (whatever it was called) Set with these two cuties inside, unsuspectingly in the clearance area, right next to the checkout:

- tony moly panda's dream so cool cooling eye stick
- tony moly pocket bunny perfume bar 02 juicy bunny (peach)

The duo set was only $11.97 on clearance; I had a coupon and some points to use--score!!!!!!!! I had been eyeing the perfume bar for a loooong time but never took the plunge because I never knew what it actually smelled like, and never wanted to waste money on it. A secret: it smells lovely and sweet~!

The other cooling eye stick is currently just a backup--I like it a lot for my under eyes, especially in the AM or before I plan to get #sheetfaced ...!

yesasia

As part of a past YesAsia order (that later became my Christmas present to myself), I ordered the November issue of Popteen--this was the freebie item that was a tie-up collab with Baskin Robins Japan.

The magazine freebie was Halloween makeup themed that included two colour mascaras (orange and purple), and a marble style cream makeup, for the under eyes. The cream stuff would make work alright as an eye shadow bases, but eh....I did it more for the mascaras........!

sephora (again lol)

This will be the oldest "new" thing in my stash, for real! Back around Black Friday/whenever Sephora had its VIB sale (I forgot; that whole season is a massive blur), I bought the Tatcha Bestsellers Set and used the 20% off coupon, as my main Christmas present to myself.

At the time, I also redeemed 100 points for the mini of Tatcha's Water Gel Cream.

T-t-that's all, folks!

Thanks for reading! Let me know what's new in your stash, and why you might have bought something. Was it on a whim, or just for the packaging?

Good night!!
