In the excitement of having a bit of extra money, coupled with the overwhelming stress of moving two households, I ordered some goodies off of ULTA.com, during the Black Friday sales. I had little intentions of going overboard (I didn't), but I thought I'd share (so I can open the darn things!) of this quick haul:

I admit I'm late in posting this but many, many other priorities came first, long before sitting down to blog. I hurt my foot at work, been exhausted and super drained--not a good mindset for skincare bloggin'.

 Yes, now this mini-haul makes me a bit of sell-out. Why?

- succumbed to the IG skincare gods
- gave my $$ indirectly to Lime Crime lol

First, I'm fully and deeply aware of Lime Crime's..."history"....if you catch my drift. I've shied away from directly purchasing from them, unless I buy through a retailer like Urban Outfitters or now, ULTA. I figured by that way, my money wasn't completely going to Lime Crime but to the retailer first. It's like half supporting them, but half not. Bad logic, I know, but it makes me feel better.

Second, this was on sale and this, this cutie right here was my motivation for this order:

I understand that it's Lime Crime's 10th Anniversary (or something to that affect) so ULTA was having a sale during the Black Friday sales. I had been eyeing the Polly Pocket-esque style of eyeshadow quads since the initial release of the eyeshadow quads. None of those colours seemed as interesting as this LE version, so I thought I'd give a go.

This bad boy was half price and the holographic outer case really caught my eye!

Basically, the lipsticks were half price too for Black Friday, down to $9 ea., instead of the usual $18. I regret not buying a second colour. 

As I write this, so far, the lipstick is incredible. Smooth, creamy and pigmented--the bbloggers are quaking in their boots! Me? I'm just Late to the party--better late than never.

Now I had seen these bad boy on IG for quite some time, had mild interest but didn't think to order. Since ULTA brought the brand to their site (and I did save some coin with the coupon code), I decided to treat myself--if you've all seen my last post, I've been running myself ragged for the past few months as I moved out of home, while helping my parents move, and downsizing while adjusting to living with my partner. It's all been Too Much.

That aside, it was time for Something Nice for myself. This seemed to be it; calling my name through some frivolous retail therapy.  I'm looking forward to opening her, and getting that glass skin! (lol)
