Hello! I did some very unexpected beauty shopping recently, so here's an impromptu haul of recently items I've purchased, from a couple of different places.
u l t aI didn't plan to go to ULTA at all, but I was on that side of town yesterday. I had a coupon in my email for a free stila liquid lipstick, with any purchase.
Generally, I look at NYX products first, then take a look at my store's K-beauty area. This is the current setup:

Basically,.....my Christmas kind of....sucked. Some life stuff got in the way (the same old shit) but that aside, here's the stuff I bought myself (except for the CatDog boxset).
I posted on Instagram (below) about these same items but since I took additional photo beforehand too, so...enjoy!
I bought some items from sephora.com, and in doing so, renewed VIB status.

Hello! I did some shopping, so I thought I'd do a quick haul post (so I wouldn't forget about it and like, never post it, ahaha!!!!) Enjoy!

I had already made one last order to help renew my VIB status for 2017, but one item did not ship. It was even on the invoice, but wasn't in the box!! I rang Sephora and the guy immediately issued a return of that amount, for the one missing item. Unfortunately, that did mean my renewal for VIB was altered--I was short!!! of $1!!!

I went to my local Sephora inside JCP store (not my favourite, but it's the closest....). Initially, I wanted to repurchase UD's All Night Setting Spray but didn't against it as I think the alcohol in it is giving me some dryness on my face, so I passed on it for now. Instead, I picked up a set of three NEST roller-ball perfumes, for $20. Since I was in store, I also got the physical VIB card.
Here's a short post of my mini-haul from Sephora, from around my birthday a few weeks ago now. I went to Tacoma Mall and picked up a couple of things:
First, enjoy both DEAN and Crush's beautiful vocals in this song:
Hello!!! This week, I took an extra two paid days off of work to give myself a total of four days off of work. It has been nice...I guess....but I've spent three of them so far mostly on the phone with HP and Costco, regarding my laptop, including time spent on hold. I won't go too into it but I'm tired.
Hello all!!! Yesterday, I turned 25. I honestly can't believe I made it this far.
I thought I'd share some of the things I bought myself around my birthday this month and some skincare/ makeup items that I hauled!!
Hello! I'm finally here with my skincare and makeup haul, during my San Francisco trip, earlier at the beginning of this month.
What's taken awhile is to edit the photos while editing my log footage and juggling them with dwindling storage space, and lack of energy after long days at work. I've (slowly, but surely) made it work, so enjoy!
Blog posts of my trip is already online:

daiso
As I shared on my Instagram, I hauled a smaller amount of items from this adorable, irresistible store, on my first day of my trip in San Francisco. God, I love Daiso so much....!
☆ foot mask pack x2
☆ mask mask pack x2
☆ eyeliner
☆ horse oil hand cream
☆ silicone cleansing brush tool thing
☆ insanely fluffy soft face towel
And some stationary; cute letter sets, a clear pouch and some vocab cards on a handy ring.

My closet Urban Outfitters is actually up in Seattle but I've only ever driven by while heading to another place--I've yet to go inside!! So imagine my contained excitement that there was a sizeable UO about two blocks away frim my hotel and could go inside!!
I mainly oogled over some of the skincare, especially the K-beauty area (hello, instant gratification) despite the inflated prices.
I decided to take the plunge and pick up Tony Moly's Golden Mushroom sleeping pack, since I've tried the mask version and liked it. It was $18 but I figured, now or never. I also took the chance to test (smell!) some of the other products, including the perfume gloss bar--something that I had always thought about ordering but now will not.
☆ tony moly peach hand cream - $8
☆ tony moly golden mushroom sleeping pack - $18
☆ tony moly panda's dream white hand cream - $8
☆ missha speedy solution anti trouble patch- $5
☆ it's skin sheet mask blueberry x2, avocado x2 - $3ea.

Basically, I was on a short mission with limited time on the first day. I wedged myself into the rowd inside the packed Sephora. In front of lit mirrors, where a collective of beautiful ladies that eagerly listened while being taught the best ways to apply eye shadow, at a seated are ain the middle of the store. This was the busiest I've ever seen a Sephora.
I was able to buy the gorgeous Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette--it is stunning in person and on my eyes.
forever21
F21 was also a busy store...I took the lift up to the third? floor where the plus size clothing was and as soon as I stepped out of the elevator, I saw the skirt I had been eyeing for couple of weeks, hanging on a rack--in my size! It is a beautiful floral skirt, but not too busy of a floral print.
I also picked up a multi-pack of fruit themed earrings and some food themed pins, ones that I plan to turn into huge earrings.

On my second day, I did venture back to UO, Sephora and F21, at different times.
sephora, round two
When back at Sephora, it was a little less packed. I decided to buy the trial travel size kit of some belif products. I've tried a small sample of the Aqua bomb cream and liked it, but I want to get a feel of the brand before majorly splurging on their products. I also grabbed a new bottle of UD's All Night Setting Spray as I had long since ran out.
urban outfitters, parte deux
I literally popped in to just purchase a LimeCrime Velvetines liquid lipstick (in Red Velvet) about half an hour before leaving the hotel to checkout early, on my third day~~!
forever21, cont'd
I actually went back to F21 again on the second da yof my trip; I had more time to actually browse the area with leisure. The plus size section is much bigger (no puns intended) than my local store of course, but also pretty sizeable, compared to
I ended up getting these cute daisy shorts--with cute frills around the cuffs--a cute, holographic zipped pouch and some cute ankle socks.
Also, I bought this dress that I've been wearing a lot lately, including this photo on my IG:
topshop @ nordstrom
I don't remember which day but I did go into Nordstrom (just to browse) and happened to see some cute!!! af!!! necklaces. I intended to only buy the pizza one for $7 (plus a different pair of cute earings) but when the sales associate rang the necklace up, it came to only ONE CENT. It was something to do with it being a deleted item...? (I worked retail, so I totally understood!)
So...I bought the remaining eight necklaces, with plans to make them into earrings (which I did).

I was out in Tacoma and stopped by the mall. I decided to hit up the stand alone Sephora since I prefer this store than the one inside JCP. Ibought only two items but I'm still very happy about my purchase~!
I decided to pick up the L'Occitane "Dry skin essentials" 6-piece kit for USD$35, that comes in a cute pouch.
The kit includes:
I'm taking this chance to try out L'Occitane (since I'm a complete newbie) and understand the hype.
While in store, I wandered back to the fragrance area and happened to see NEST's small, aesthetically pleasing display on the shelf. I hadn't really heard of NEST--not that I've been keeping up with Western beauty, or even the fragrance side of things--but curiosity got the better of me. I tested a few of the scents and I was blown away at clean, crisp floral scents.
I initially thought to maybe consider the roller ball size since $68 for the full size bottle is a bit..much (I'd rather like, order some AB off of Amazon for that same $$...) but then I wasn't too sure as I was kind of pressed for time.
I happened to see a mini duo set for $15, near the checkout at the very dangerous "beauty on the fly" area--dangerous for the wallet!!! So, I ended up buying the mini duo set that includes "Dahila & Vines" and "Midnight Fleur", for $15.

Sephora haul - Part 1
I bought:
-Too Faced Natural Matte palette
- Dr Jart+ Dermaclear Trans-foam Clay (Pink) - 50ml
- Urban Decay all nighter Makeup Setting Spray - 30ml
This would be my first Too Faced palette and I have to say, I'm so excited! I'm hoping that because the eyeshadows are matte, that they will blend nicely and stay on my eyelids..since I have a lot of trouble with shimmer in my eyeshadows.

Here's a quick post of my Sephora mini haul! This order pushed me over and I've been bumped up to VIB status. Cool, right...?

I also used the code "KBEAUTY" to get another mini product with my order (shown in the few couple of pictures). This time, I chose a mini size of Erborian
Pâte au Ginseng Black Concentrated Mask because I've been pretty curious about the mask, but I definitely don't want to fork out $$$ for the full size yet, certainly not without trying it first.
Hello, everyone! 💕 Today is part one of a recent online haul from Sephora.com. 💕💕
I saw in the last few months that I was $88 away from making VIB, and I figured I would push to try to make the new status. After a week (honestly!) of careful deciding and rearranging various items in my cart after some items were out of stock, I finally made a $50 order (before receiving the BI $15 off $50 card in the mail), on December 4th. I received the order in the mail a few days later.

Here's just a few things that Sephora and Ulta should really be doing:
Cut the Asian beauty inspired crap.
I'm pointing the finger at Sephora more or less, with it's "K-beauty skincare", and "Asian Beauty" routines which just seems like a new angle to market mediocre, mid-performance prestige products to consumers.
Instead, both stores should stock actual products from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China and other areas, and market it as "beauty from abroad". It could be products are known but maybe harder to come across online (L'herboflore masks); well known products that might able to be sold in Sephora and Ulta (Etude House, Holika Holika, Peripera, etc) or a mixture. Just a thought: since princes themed brand Too Faced does pretty well, why not add Etude House to the mix?

Hello all! こんばんわ、皆さん~!
On my day off yesterday, I decided to do a bit of shopping. My local mall is pretty small and not that exciting or very nice, so I ended up going on a short drive and going to a much bigger mall, a few towns away.
昨日のは、休日だったから買い物に行って決めした。近くのショッピングセンターがあまり大きくないとよくないだと思いますが…もっと大きくショッピングセンターへドライブをして行き着いた。
I did a bit of damage but the important thing was I had fun.
