Very recently, this cute af Etude House lipstick that I ordered from eBay came in the mail and my first instinct was to take photos and swatch!

Yesterday, I did some minor beauty shopping locally and very unexpectedly, picked up some a few items. I'm planning to test out each of these items individually on here, or over on my Instagram.

Target currently has a deal running where when you receive a $10 gift card with any Laneige purchase, until March 18th, 2017. I did another deal with some pads, and got a an additional $5 gift card. I split some of my purchases, got a $10 gift card from the mask and ended up saving $15 on the cushion, with a second $10 generated from the cushion. I'm only a casual couponer but this was honestly the best deal I've done in a while, tbh!

I'll keep this short and simple: here's what I've been loving or using a lot throughout February.

In my experience, Skinfood makes affordable, cute products but the key is that they work! I know it is a deal breaker for some, but the use of Comic Sans font cracks me up! Somehow, it works with their kitsch aesthetic, so I'm all for it. Among the plethora of food-related products is Skinfood's Peach Sake line, a skincare line with makeup items as well. I have the toner and the other Silky Powder and have previously had the serum--all seem to work as intended.

I took the plunge! I ordered the ever-so popular, Isehan Heroine Make Long & Curl Super Waterproof Mascara from Amazon on Feb 6th, from seller 100 WAYS Ship from Japan. It arrived just the other day, along with two bottles of Gokujun lotion that I repurchase (I'm so excited!!!)

I tried out the mascara, in the shade 01 Jet Black for the first time this morning and thought I'd whip up a first impressions review with some swatches + demo, and a slight comparison to another mascara that I've been using.

Good morning! I forgot to share this sooner but in January (last month), I took the plunge and finally went pink. My aim was a cotton candy pink.

To achieve this lovely pinkness, I used Manic Panic hair dye in Cotton Candy Pink that I picked up from Sally's and a TRESemme conditioner to help dilute it. In hindsight, diluting it was unnecessary, but it still turned out nicely!

 

Got my cup of tea and some jams primed as I write this--I'm ready!

I picked these up recently from a short trip at ULTA, back on Valentine's Day. At the time, I had a $5 off of $10 coupon to use and initially, I didn't find anything exciting. I spotted three of these bad bpys, sitting in the clearance section, for $2.75 ea. I bought those three, plus another item, so after my coupon (plus some redeemed points), the masks were .97 ea.!!!!

I thought I'd be a good™ beauty Blogger and blog about this sooner...than like in eight months time. So tonight, I'll be reviewing It's Skin Butterfly Eyes Mask Sheet, for the eye area.
