Hello all! During StyleKorean's recent sale, I ordered a couple of 3CE items (it was a Seriously Good sale!!!!). This is the beginning of my 3CE journey; I am planning a couple of projects on Instagram, just for giggles.

Around October....? last year, Memebox announced one of its new boxes (at the time): The Yeon box. I had seen only the other variants of Hallabong cream packs on TesterKorea and had a good idea of the pricing for the brand--it's kind of on the expensive side.

I also hadn't heard about hallabong fruit but kind of understood that it is likely within the citrus fruit family, and proceeded to do a bit of research. I discovered that it's a sweeter type of mandarin orange, much like the dekopon variety, in Japan. It's most recognisable characteristic is the extra protruding bump on the top of the orange, and is one of Jeju Island's delicacies. Ah, Jeju~~~

And so, I grew interested. I did some further review-hunting online to see if other users had written about any of these itesm in the box, or any reviews of The Yeon products in general.  Nada. There wasn't much at all. So, I decided to take the plunge and just order from Memebox anyway.

I'm late on writing this, but there's a reason. I decided I wanted to try out the products first, before slamming them.

Hey guys! I already posed on r/AsianBeauty but my Memebox order with items from all the Black Friday shenanigans came today! Of course, as you read this, it's "yesterday"....!

On Wednesday of last week--the day before Thanksgiving day--I actually made my first Memebox order. I ended up getting the Yeon box (not an aff. link) plus some sheet masks--all of which arrived on Friday? Saturday morning, last week...?  I decided that while I could take photos and post a haul, I wanted to wrap it up and put it under the tree for Christmas--since it's so close and all.  More about this later...

Hey guys! So as I posted on Instagram, some mail arrived!!!!!    I made an order on Amazon very recently (Nov 1) and three of the items arrived earlier this afternoon (Nov 11).

I caved: I decided to buy the Birchbox "From Korea, With Love" box, primary because...well, K-beauty....? But I'm still very firm on not wanting to resubscribe to the monthly box from Birchbox at this time.

Basically, this curated box had items that I've been...well, lusting after for a while.

It's  that time of year for all things spooky (spoopy too) and I'm kind of burnt out.  I've been feeling the spooky vibes for months and now that Halloween is looming closer, I'm just kind of not...feeling it? Maybe I haven't had enough orange and black things yet...

Anyway, this month's ipsy bag came my way on October 14th, which was pretty quick! Because of work, I took these two pics, but quickly went to bed.

Hello all! I'm a little late on posting this as well....how to put it....I've been a little annoyed at Birchbox and the September box.  I was and still am pretty unimpressed.  Here's some chillingly honest thoughts, and why I cancelled my subscription...

Lately, I've been wanting to try a new toner so I did some research from YouTube videos and countless blog reviews. I noticed that many complained of the alcohol in the toner and that it either a) helped control oil but they hated the supposed smell, or b) that it dried out their skin.  But I'm definitely beginning to see that skincare is truly YMMV, and you need to try it out on your skin whenever possible.
