I bought some items from sephora.com, and in doing so, renewed VIB status.

I recently shared on my Instagram of my latest eBay haul, including the Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream (Cover & Bright Fit), as seen below. I've been testing the BB cream for over a week now and I have to say, I like it a lot. I do want to try the cushion version too, just to see how it compares in a cushion format to the BB cream version.

I had to do some research and much cross reverencing between some YouTube videos, other bbloggers' reviews and sellers' listings to make sure I had chosen the right finish. Without a doubt, the differences between "blooming", "cotton", "perfect" etc, still mildly confuse me.

This review is of N02 Light Beige, in the "cover & bright fit, which I do hope it to have coverage and to brighten. The product comes in an easy to squeeze tube with a large screw cap, much like standard of other competing brands' BB creams.

Here's a quick picture of the BB cream, swatched on my hand below (left) and blended out (right). The BB cream is creamy, easy to blend and almost milky. You can feel some moisture in the cream too, since it isn't the the "cotton fit" (matte) but the cover bright fit. It does look darker at first glance but once blended out, it seems brighter.

The BB cream dries as a semi-matte, almost satin-y finish. It also does seem to highlight the dryness and the cracks on my hand...💦💦

I very excitedly placed an order from Rakuten Global (which I'd advise against for a specific reason) from five sellers, on November 27th.
 
I received automatic emails, then the following day, received one three of the five that shipping would be 2,000 yen EACH, as they only offered EMS, despite showing the other services for international shipping on their shop pages. That is WAY TOO MUCH for items that are under 500 yen, and some, under 200 yen and ones that are light.




 I emailed one seller and asked if there was any way that shipping could be cheaper, since I'm overseas and they offered to do 180yen for a small, unregistered packet for a small Kumamon strap--which was kind but I think I hastily canceled that since I don't think I can buy that particular elsewhere, unless I were in Kumamoto--but I did not confirm to the shipping.

But like USD$100 total for shipping, across all sellers??!!?! I panicked.

I'm writing this while starting a new Korean drama called Goblin. It's so incredible as so far, it's the most visually captivating story I've ever seen, in terms of K-drama. It's actually a story! There's a plot!

Anyway, I'm here to talk about my recent empties (my trash). Whatever fills the small Sephora bag by my desk, I suppose! Also, tomorrow is recycling day...

I rang Sephora and the guy immediately issued a return of that amount, for the one missing item. Unfortunately, that did mean my renewal for VIB was altered--I was short!!! of $1!!!

Hello all! I had been eyeing this The Face Shop lip balm for a good while mostly for its cuteness but I was interested in the colour and how it may wear on the lips. I had found a number of sites selling the honey and orange versions for cheap but were out of stock; the strawberry often was out of stock or at an inflated price due to limited quantities. I saw it on Amazon (months after purchasing the knockoff version) for a decent price, and pounced.

Since my last review of this kind was pretty bloody popular, I thought I'd continue with another comparison review. Hello!!! This week, I took an extra two paid days off of work to give myself a total of four days off of work. Why Korean skincare?

Korean skincare, in my experience is innovative, clever and cute--all at once. It has a way of bringing people together from around the world (as like other communities would), online and offline. Korean skincare (and makeup) generally promotes for self-care to yourself and allows opportunity to express yourself, however you like. This slice of the beauty community also gives room for ample discourse on a range of products and services while giving the platform for growth and opportunity.

Hello all! I don't usually do favourites posts since I don't tend to like the same things for a solid amount of time within the same month, but I though I'd give it a go.

• water/ tea
• water bottle for liquids when in bed
• cold/flu meds
• minimal food intake
• garlic pills
• more water 

Most of the above are self explanatory, but the flu/ bad colds can affect a person differently. One might gets the runs while another loses their hearing temporarily (I lost my hearing and sense of smell, but was so hungry because I could still taste).

Just to help your body out, you need to keep fluid intake up up, more than you usually would, and should reduce food intake in case you get the runs, but you need to feed yourself to keep yourself strong while your body fights the bad germs! Garlic pills are helpful too, but careful as they are a blood thinner. It didn't stop me--I took about 60. Don't do that.

Hello all!! Tony Moly, as always, offers a generous range of affordable products with its cute, fun packaging--a key element to its brand. I've been a fan of its hand creams for a while now and also the I'm Real Sheet Masks, as of late. I really love all the animal themed products too.

I picked up Tony Moly My Little Pet Eye Patch fairly recently from my local ULTA store but had been stashing it away for a special day of pampering and self care. It's been especially tough at work lately (mostly physically and mentally) and while pushing myself, my immune system and skin majorly suffers...💦💦💦💦 Tonight, I decided to pull this gel eye patch set from the depths of my stash and try it out! This is will be a full review but leaning towards a first impression review.

This evening, as I back up my laptop so I can send it to HP tech tomorrow (issues with the fan, causing it to make noises), I thought I'd whip up a quick first impressions review on Etude House's Vital Water Special Trial Kit.  🍑🍑🍑🍑

Over the past couple of months, despite switching a couple of products here and there (excluding ones I had been testing for those 0.8L reviews), I think I've finally managed to narrow down a solid routine with products that actually show results.

Hello, all! I made an Amazon order of some more AB skincare and makeup products very recently (Aug 6th) and part of it arrived just this week, on Wednesday (Aug 17). I thought I'd share what I bought and kind of...why...?

Just this week, I went to a local salon and got my roots done and the lengthen of my hair lightened to more of a platinum blonde. The salon has an academy which you can get the students to perform the same services but at a reduced price but they get to learn and you are supporting students and a local business. I also got a trim on my bangs and ends of my hair!

Basically, I got my roots done first which took about 1.5hrs. The salon gal used Volume 5 on my roots and later, 10 on the length of my hair before toning.




 I also got a shampoo and treatment in there, plus toning!! I've never felt so relaxed....!!!!!!
